RACHELLI Elio & C. s.n.c. was founded by a family of mechanics, who has never lost sight of technology development of plastic moulds manufacturing.

Since 1961, Mr. ELIO RACHELLI has been at the helm of RACHELLI, investing all his energy and resources every day to achieve advanced technical standards to guarantee the highest quality products, even for the most demanding customers. Over the past decade, the generational transition has led to his son Maurizio taking on an increasingly active role in managing the company.

RACHELLI’s staff is continuously updated on new technologies.

The mould manufacturing department is equipped with machine tools controlled directly by computerised systems, which ensure a perfect final product, as every stage of the process is monitored. In-house mould testing and moulding of various materials allow us to directly verify quality and precision standards, therefore completing the production process control cycle.

Since the beginning of its activity Rachelli Elio & C. s.n.c. produced for Hella and Automotive Lighting moulds for both interior parts (including switches, air conditioners, manifolds, ashtrays, electrical connectors and covers) and exterior parts of cars (front and rear lights, trim strips, indicators, Fresnel lenses, reflectors and bezels).

Working with big companies in the packaging sector, we have specialised in products that require high standards both in terms of quality and production capacity (average capacity of 500,000 units per day per item). We also work in the furniture sector for designers such as Kartell, in the cosmetics sector for Inca (Italy’s leading supplier of products for the luxury perfumery market) and in the technical construction sector for Brevetti Montolit (a world leader in tile-cutting machines).

In order to meet our customers’ needs we have specialised in the manufacture of prototype tools with hot runner injection or valve gate system.

To guarantee the high quality of its products, Rachelli Elio & C. s.n.c. ensures a wide flexibility of its departments and the ongoing training of its operators; the wide range of processed materials requires continuous monitoring.

Thanks to the needs of certain customers, we have taken the opportunity to set up a production department which is able to provide the finished product. The quality management system is BRC certified.

By working with CAD-CAM systems, we help to develop the component based on our customers’ ideas, and we also provide our expertise and experience; this enables us to become a true partner to our customers.

Using our in-house equipment, we can carry out advanced mathematical modelling, Moldflow analyses, STL models for prototyping, the construction of pilot moulds, dimensional checks and feasibility studies; we use software formats such as Catia, IGES, VDA, DXF, etc.

We pay our attention to the new materials coming on the market, both engineering plastics and compostable-biodegradable materials. In these two specific areas, we have built up a wealth of experience in mould manufacturing.

In 2025, Rachelli Elio & C. SNC received funding under the European Next Generation EU programme, which aims to support the green transition and innovation in industry.

The project realised by the company is part of a growth strategy focused on environmental sustainability and improving the energy efficiency of production processes. Specifically, the initiative involved two main actions.

On the one hand, the purchase of state-of-the-art machinery has enabled us to improve production performance, reducing at the same time energy consumption and waste. The introduction of these new solutions is an important step towards a more modern, efficient and competitive industrial model.

On the other hand, the installation of a solar power system has enabled the company to produce energy from renewable sources, making a significant contribution to reduce emissions and to cut energy costs in the long term.

Thanks to this investment, Rachelli Elio & C. s.n.c. steps up its commitment to sustainable development, in line with European directives, improving its operational efficiency and competitiveness on the market.

The project therefore is a concrete example of how innovation and sustainability can be integrated, creating value both in the industry and in the surrounding areas.
